Chemistry of Medicinal Plants

This course aims to provide the students with the current updated information of the biosynthetic pathways, isolation/identification of the active plant constituents and drugs containing these constituents. The aim of the lectures is not to rely just on factual information but to impart an understanding of natural product structures and the way they are put together in living organisms.
